Meet Holly Morchat

Growing up, I was always the creative type — guess it’s in my blood, being the daughter of an art teacher! I sewed my own prom dress, dyed my hair pink (several times), and embraced every quirky, colorful part of me. Now, as a proud Xennial, I’m all about celebrating who I am right here, right now. Wear the sequins. Rock the red lipstick. Fall off the skateboard and hop right back on. Life’s too short to live for anyone’s approval but your own.

And that’s exactly what I want to create with you — something fun, bold, and totally you. Beautiful wall art that celebrates the incredible, strong, smart, and resilient person you are today. Not the version of you waiting for “someday,” whether that’s losing five pounds, upgrading your wardrobe, or ticking off some other future milestone. You are worth celebrating right now. And so are the people you love.

I spent twelve years living in New Zealand (Auckland, Wellington, Queenstown) after moving there on a Rotary International scholarship. I was supposed to come back after a year (whoops) — but I met the love of my life, got married, and had babies. As beautiful as New Zealand is, being a Xennial mom without family support? Tough! So, we moved to Trophy Club, TX, to be closer to family.

I’ve always been drawn to photography, especially emotive portraits — family, lifestyle, empowerment shots — they really speak to me. But hey, I’m more than just a photographer! I’m a big fan of good food and cocktails (Rainbow Roll sushi, black olive pizza, and a Corpse Reviver #2, anyone?), I love cycling (so I can burn off those treats), and you’ll spot me and my kids zooming around Trophy Club in our stylish high-viz vests.

After years in the 9-5 world, working with professional associations, I’m embracing this new chapter to dive back into my creative passions. And now, as a mom, I get just how precious memories are. I’d love to help you capture some of yours!
